Psychologist, teacher, and guidance counselor Robert Selverstone earned degrees at Cornell University (BA 1961), Brooklyn College, City University of New York (MS 1966) and New York University (PhD 1971). An expert in sex education for adolescents, he served as a guidance counselor and teacher at schools in Ridgefield and Westport, Connecticut from 1966 to 1996.
